The weather was challenging, but not as challenging as the issues facing victims and survivors of domestic violence. It was heart warming to see how many people braved the unseasonable weather conditions to walk together with us to raise greater awareness of the growing incidence of domestic violence with statistics indicating 1 in 3 women suffer from some form of abuse in their lifetime.
